Clinton obtained his undergraduate psychology degree from Macquarie University (Sydney) and a Post Graduate psychology qualification from Murdoch University (Perth). Over the last 12 years and many thousands of clinical practice hours, he has worked across the mental health sector in several states. Through this experience he has developed a clinical interest and expertise in treating military veterans and their families. He has many years of experience working with young people and clients with complex challenges including chronic illness, addiction, sexuality issues, gender dysphoria, and trauma. He is a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency. He is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS) and has held senior roles in various clinical settings including:

– Department of Health – Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (NSW)
– Psychiatric and Vocational Rehabilitation
– Department of the Attorney General – Department of Justice – Juvenile Justice (NSW)
– Department of Veterans Affairs – Current and Ex-serving ADF Members and their Families
– Department of Defence – Special Air Service Regiment (SASR)
